Pastor Dean has served in the full-time ministry over the last 30 years in various capacities. Prior to starting Rock Family Church in 2004 he served as a youth pastor, associate pastor, Bible college instructor, and conference speaker. He has also authored twelve volumes of ministry curriculum called H2O Sermon Source.

His success in ministry can be summed up in one word--creativity. If you are looking for a bland, ordinary, run-of-the-mill speaker--you're looking in the wrong place! Dean's creative style of ministry connects with people and ignites them in their walk with God. Dean believes it is a sin to be boring in church. This motivates him to continually seek the Lord for new and creative ideas to reach people with the good news!

Jared Moore leads our worship, video, and technical teams. Having a unique gifting in worship and creativity, Jared is a prolific worship leader, speaker, song writer, and author. He released his debut solo worship project, “Would You Mind”, in May of 2011 and it's available from jaredmooremusic.com and iTunes. He is feverishly writing his first book which will be available Winter 2012.

He and his wife, Katrina, have two sons, Elijah and Sam, and a daughter, Lily. At any given moment, Jared can be found fishing, sleeping, tinkering on cars, writing, watching old westerns, or playing Rummikub with his family.

Mike has served in full time youth ministry since 1999 and says he is just getting warmed up! He is passionate about developing teenagers in their God-given potential. Mike puts it this way, “Every time a student and their family walk through the doors of a church, we have a responsibility to discover, define, and deploy their God given potential!” As the leader at the helm of The SWITCH Student Ministries you will be seeing many exciting changes and new additions to our student ministry. Be careful, Mike is highly contagious and if you hang around him you might get addicted to reaching a generation for Christ!

Mike and his wife, Elizabeth, have been married for 15 years and have the privilege of raising their four boys, Kaige (11), Kaiden (4), Caleb (4) and Tyler (2). 

Kim has served in the ministry along side her husband, Dean, for the past 29 years.  From kids, to teenagers and adults, she has ministered to all levels.  Along with her role of overseeing our children’s ministry Kim also teaches aerobics, and one of her favorite jobs is being "mom" to her three adult children: Alesha, Allyson and Preston.

Her energetic and contagious attitude will ignite your kids in their walk with Jesus Christ.  Kim also understands the frustrations and challenges of parenting children.  Each month her parent updates give you hints, tips, and tricks to improving your relationship with your kids.

Aileen joined the Rock staff in 2010. She is the Director of our Life Group Ministry and leads our Volunteer Development. She also assists with our Dare to Care Outreach to our city. Aileen is a graduate of Oral Roberts University with a Masters in Interpersonal Communication with a Small Group emphasis.

She was married to Martin in 1981 and together, they have been blessed with six children and two fantastic son-in-laws. Aileen served alongside her husband for eleven years in Youth With a Mission before moving to Colorado Springs in 1995, where Martin became the Financial Controller at Compassion International. Aileen has served in the local church all her adult life and her call is to encourage and equip believers. Aileen's passion is to help people live remarkably fruitful lives to the glory of God.

Lauren grew up in Southern California and married her high school sweetheart, Justin, in August 2005. They recently moved to Colorado Springs after Justin's 8 year military service. Both are thrilled to be a part of Rock Family and eager to see how God can use them for His glory. During free time, Lauren really enjoys exploring God's incredible outdoor playground. She also loves spending time with her family, cooking, running, and worshiping Jesus through music.
